	<description><![CDATA[Northern Territory Occupation Shortage List&amp;nbsp;

The Northern Territory Occupation Shortage List is a list of occupations currently experiencing shortages or recruitment difficulties in the Northern Territory. The Department of Business &amp;amp; Employment is committed to reviewing the list annually to take into account new information and emerging shortages. You are invited to have input into development of the 2009 list, by providing information on: 
&amp;bull; Inclusions - new occupations that are not on the list but are experiencing shortages or recruitment difficulties; and&amp;nbsp;
&amp;bull; Exclusions - occupations that are currently on the list but no longer in shortage or experiencing recruitment difficulties. (more ...)&amp;nbsp;

	<description><![CDATA[Commonwealth Government&amp;rsquo;s Economic Security Package&amp;nbsp;
&amp;nbsp;
A reminder that welfare recipient families will receive $2,100 per couple and $1,000 per child under the Commonwealth Government&amp;rsquo;s economic stimulus scheme. Payments will be made over the fortnight commencing 8 December 2008.
It is important that members be aware of possible increased liquor purchases, consumption of alcohol and irresponsible gambling by at-risk individuals and exercise greater vigilance and caution over this period.
Payments will be made available to families, carers, seniors, veterans and pensioners. (more ...)&amp;nbsp;

	<title><![CDATA[Weekly Update]]></title>
	<description><![CDATA[Responsible Drinking Campaign&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;
&amp;nbsp;
The Australian Government launched its National Binge Drinking campaign last Friday. The campaign&amp;rsquo;s primary target audiences are teenagers aged 15-17 and young adults aged 18-25 years. 
The campaign will run over the next 2 years to confront young people about the costs and consequences of binge drinking. 
The AHA welcomes this new responsible drinking campaign. The television ads focus attention on what can occur when people don&amp;rsquo;t manage their drinking.
